The Senior Graphic Designer is a lead graphic designer who will create new and original designs from scratch for brands based on client specification, needs and brand image, and lead teams with other designers to execute. Working with Partners the Senior Graphic Designer will aide in assigning key responsibilities to members of the team and implementing new strategies to enhance effective performance and delivery amongst team members. As an expert in the field, Senior Graphic Designer makes use of his/her wealth of experience to effectively understand client job needs and communicate them to other team members who may not understand clients’ perception. Working within and with multidiscipline teams will be a frequent part of the responsibilities when developing solutions for Linespace’s diverse clientele. As a leader, the senior graphic designer is knowledgeable about all aspects of graphic designing and assigns roles to team members based on their strengths to harness their skills create superior results and increase project efficiency. The senior graphic designer takes responsibility of brand oversight for the clients, and is also in charge of brand creative assets.
The Senior Graphic Designer may be asked to assist or provide materials for marketing presentations, and other promotional efforts. The designer will aid in updating and developing the Linespace site as well as contribute to studio social media and digital newsletter when appropriate.
The designer is responsible for keeping their workstation and area clean. It may be asked on occasion for the Designer to help in picking up supplies at Staples or other office/design supplies stores, as well as deliver a package to a courier service. Linespace will pay for mileage at 57¢ per mile for these trips.
Salary based on experience and expertise 40 hrs per week Pay period: 15th & 31st of the month (if payday falls on Saturday or Sunday check will be available on the Monday following) Holiday and Personal Days Linespace will pay for seven (7) holidays; three (3) personal days and two weeks (ten - 10) days of vacation to use within the calendar year. This time is not cumulative and will not roll over to the next year. Paid holidays are Christmas Day, New Year’s Day, 4th of July, Thanksgiving Day and day after, Memorial Day and Labor Day. (If a holiday falls on a Saturday or Sunday the paid day will be the following Monday.) Personal days may be taken at any time within the year. Linespace would requests 1 week advanced notice of these days when possible. Employee must notify the day of to qualify as a personal day otherwise the time is considered unpaid absence. Personal days may not be broken into partial days and must taken as full day. Linespace requests the employee not take all personal days consecutively without prior approval.
Duration & Schedule Office Hours:
Monday- Friday: 8 hours between 9am -7pm This scheduled time may increase based on Linespace needs and Designer availability. Linespace will be flexible with the schedule should the designer need to adjust hours/days. The Designer should inform Linespace of planned vacations and days off two weeks prior to the event.
